Cajun Food Truck
Gary's Cajun Cuisine is a food truck in the Shreveport-Bossier metro area. A business built by the hard work and passion of two people who wanted to provide our local communities with authentic cajun food. People in our cities want and deserve to have great cajun food and food truck options to excite their taste buds. That is what we provide consistently. Come visit us.
Our goal is to bring authentic Cajun Cuisine to Shreveport and the surrounding area by setting up our food truck daily throughout Shreveport/Bossier. It is our passion to minister and serve. We strive to keep our prices competitive without compromising our quality or integrity. In addition to selling hot lunch and dinner plates off the food truck, we also take pride in our ability to offer a wide array of catering services. We can simply drop off large portions of our food for an informal event, set up with chaffing dishes for an office meeting, or even cook onsite right out of one of our giant cast iron pots.
Everything we serve is made from scratch with meticulous attention to detail and, of course, plenty of love. Please enjoy!
Gary is currently the lead Pastor at Life Church in Shreveport. He is a native Cajun from Napoleonville. While living in Thibodaux, Gary felt called to ministry, and eventually, his ministry moved him to Shreveport. Having great knowledge of authentic Cajun recipes, Gary has, over the last 20 years, cooked these dishes in large quantities for fundraisers and charity events. Gary has, for some time, dreamed of having his own restaurant to be able to bless the masses with his awesome food.
Benjamin is originally from Shreveport. He’s worked in the service industry since 1997 at various local restaurants. In 2005 he joined the Carrabbas team and helped open the location on Youree Drive. After managing several locations in the Dallas market and Shreveport, Carrabbas moved him down to New Orleans to open a new location in Metairie. After 11 years with the company, he decided to move back home and begin preparations to start his own business.
The Lord opened doors for both of these gentlemen when they decided to go into business together by combining their own unique abilities. They have worked together to build this business and make this down-home Cajun food for the masses, a dying art that has been perfected by these two talented individuals.
